Staff Appreciation
The school principals/principal do a lot for the school and deserve a thanks! The STUCO members can bring in items for the principals like mugs, their favorite candies, foods, and drinks, or gift cards. Then, the STUCO can have a “wrapping party” where they wrap the items and put them into the gift boxes and later give it to their principals. To inspire your students to attend the wrapping party, make it fun! Order some pizza, get students to bring snacks, and play some games! The school principals/principal do a lot for the school and deserve a thanks! Brighten the Community
Christmas is all about spreading joy and smiles. What better way to do that than caroling! Set up a date and a time and take a small group of students caroling at a senior retirement home! This is sure to gain a smile from both, the students and the elderly!
Workshop Ideas
Divide your student council into smaller groups. This is a fun way to work on spontaneous speaking.
Everyone will be in a circle. One person will start with the ball and say a phrase like, “The little girl…” As each person tosses the ball to someone else, they must say continue that phrase. The person who catches the ball must continue on with that sentence but cant hold the ball in their hands longer than 3 seconds.
